Get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience where kids and dogs team up for unforgettable summer fun! As Jimmy Buffett said, “Life is like a tire swing”—and that’s exactly the spirit of this camp.

Whether you bring your own dog or buddy up with one of our playful rescue pups, you’ll explore rivers and bays, embark on adventures aboard our mothership, and paddle through backwaters in a canoe or kayak. Along the way, campers will learn the value of teamwork, good manners, and of course—mischief (the fun kind)!

It’s a summer full of discovery, friendship, and furry fun—all in a safe, supervised environment. Let the adventure begin!

2025 CAMP

A classic summer camp experience like you may have had growing up plus a little extra. We offer a day camp for the camper and their dog where the camper will learn about dog behavior, training, and care, in the mornings. They will learn how to train their dog in obedience, dock diving, hunt test, field trials and other AKC styled events. Obedience will use the guidelines of AKC CANINE GOOD CITIZEN. After a morning of training, the campers and their dogs will have the opportunity to kayak and swim in Fish River or the Bay and play on a sandbar with their dog.

Our exploration is commanded from our  Hatteras sportfishing yacht "OASIS" . The Oasis is our Mothership during our exploration of Weeks Bay & Fish River where we learn about Clean Water Initiative and the affects of stormwater on our local waters.

Other activities may include archery, tubing, plant and tree identification, river exploration, and fishing.

Our camp is open for campers ages 7-15. If you do not have a dog we will let you train with one of our Labrador retrievers, or with one of our foster dogs. Camps will be Monday – Friday from 9am to 3pm.
