Fetch & Hold Update with Judge

In this video we are just updating the owner of a young GSP on the Fetch & Hold process. The owner of the pup had done most of the training and performed reluctantly sometimes. We took him in with  a goal  of boosting the pups drive and interest while instilling obedience and possession. We built our relationship with the pup through the obedience training and started having fun with him to build his desire in fetching possession. Once we had him actively happy and ready for mischief and fun we started on his fetch and hold manners. He was definitely stubborn but we gently stuck with plan and he eventually learned he could have fun if he would fetch and hold. That is where we are now and we will continue this process as we get him driving to the ducks or birds in a single T preparing for the next steps. The most important thing now is he is having a lot of FUN!
